Air Ambulance Transport
When a patient is requiring specialized medical care, Lifeline Air Ambulance arranges a wide variety of medical personnel and aircraft along with state-of-the-art medical equipment to accompany the patient worldwide.
Lifeline arranges bedside to bedside services to adult, pediatric and neonatal patients as well as transporting patients on ventilators.
Typically transports consist of:
High Risk Obstetrical
Patients wishing to return closer to home
Medical Escort on Commercial Airlines
When a patient is stable and not seriously ill, they can be repatriated using commercial airlines with a medical escort to assist with mobility and medical needs. After establishing that an escorted repatriation is in the best interest of the patient, Lifeline reserves a flight for the patient and the escort and arranges all necessary ground transportation. Lifeline also makes arrangements with the airline for any special requirements such as oxygen or a wheelchair.
The escort will manage the patient's medical condition and comfort during flight.
International Airline Stretcher Repatriation
When a patient is non-ambulatory, Lifeline can arrange to have the patient transported with a stretcher and all necessary medical equipment and personnel on a commercial airline.
After establishing that international commercial airline stretcher repatriation is in the best interest of the patient, Lifeline will make all necessary arrangements to have the patient and medical personnel transported via commercial airlines. Lifeline will also make all necessary ground transportation arrangements.
